Who are our partners?

Chickadee Compost received two generous grants from the Maine Department of Environmental Protection’s Solid Waste Diversion Grant Program in 2020 and 2022. These funds are being used to help develop our compost site, provide receptacles for food scrap collection, and to transport larger loads in a sweet new dump trailer. Grant funds are also being used to purchase a compost screener, so that we can provide high quality compost to our customers. We are so grateful for this support.
